I am Ken Penrod, President and Principal Consultant. I founded this company to provide services to small and mid-sized companies and help them with their website and search engine optimization (SEO) needs.
I am an IT/Web/SEO Consultant and advise on web development, SEO, online marketing, software implementations and IT operations. . I started out as an electrical engineer designing hardware and developing software for manufacturing automation projects. I later joined the staff of the V.P.-Production Operations for a large multinational company as the Manager of Automation Systems where I evaluated computer automation systems for viability and ROI. I also led implementations of CAD/CAM systems in the factory. Later as a manager in Information Systems I managed the software development team for a high-rise warehouse. Out on my own as a consultant I worked on projects for Savings and Loan institutions, steel manufacturing, an education software provider and home builders.
In the late 1990’s one of my clients convinced me to come onboard as its Manager of Technology. Anything having to do with technology reported to me. I managed the IT operations (networks, desktops, phone system), Tech Support for its software products, as well as, software product development. I led two major infrastructure projects when the company relocated. I was responsible for developing its desktop systems and then taking them to the Internet. I directed the development of several internal projects for support of the business.
Given my experience in managing various projects along the way I obtained my certifications as Project Management Professional (PMP) and a Certified ScrumMaster (Agile methodologies).
Once again as a consultant I am providing consulting services to small and mid-sized companies as a Web Designer/SEO Online Marketing Specialist and IT Project Manager. I can help companies assess their IT/Web needs, plan the solutions, and execute those plans. I have a number of resources available to me in other independent consultants, technology companies, and financial institutions to help my clients. I have been developing WordPress websites since 2013.
